The Damon system – modern, innovative and effective braces

Damon braces are an innovative brand of self-ligating braces which provide our patients with a more comfortable treatment experience.

How do Damon braces work?

Traditional orthodontic therapy involves “tying in” archwires with small elastic bands or stainless steel wires. Damon braces have a built-in sliding door that holds the wire, allowing it to move more freely to straighten your teeth. This means we can use high-tech, low force wires to achieve tooth movements with more comfort, fewer visits and in a shorter space of time.

The D3 Damon system creates space for crowded teeth, reducing the need for extractions or surgery and providing continuing support for facial structure, which can decrease the signs of aging.

Not every orthodontist uses Damon braces. The reason we do is simple. With more effective treatment in hand we want our patients to benefit from this exciting technology. We are proud to be in the forefront of practices around the world offering this great new treatment to our patients.
