Carriere® Motion Appliance
Your Specialist Orthodontist may recommend starting your treatment with a Carriere® Motion Appliance. This could help address misalignments before Invisalign® or braces treatment has begun.
A Carriere® Appliance is a smooth, small instrument known as a “distalizer.” This is attached to the upper canine tooth and permanent first molar on each side of the mouth. An anchor is then installed to a tooth on each side of the lower jaw, and the Carriere® Appliance is linked to these using a rubber band.
